- Provide a complete assessment
of functional developmental levels and individual differences.
- Work together with families in understanding and
utilizing the DIR/Floortime model of treatment.
- Provide direct therapy with child
and family
- Coach parents, helpers, and professionals
in Floortime.
- Develop a home or school program
in collaboration with all involved in treatment to provide an
integrated approach to therapy (e.g. speech therapy, occupational
therapy, sensory integration, diet, medication).
- Assist families in coping with
the stress involved with raising a child with special needs.
- Refer clients to therapies that
may be needed.
